AI tools in SculptForge

SculptForge is a sculpting app first, and every AI feature is an extra. They run only when you use them, talk directly to the service you pick, and can be turned off in Preferences > AI. SculptForge has no servers, no account and no telemetry, and your art is never uploaded or used for training by SculptForge.

Live mode: your AI tool blocks out, you do the art

Connect an AI tool such as Claude Code and it works in the window you already have open while you watch. It blocks out the big forms, looks at them from every side and corrects itself. Then the sculpt is yours, with your brushes.

  • Nothing happens until you approve. SculptForge shows a code and waits for your click.
  • Every step is one undo, labelled “AI:”, so you can step back through its work.
  • It asks first before touching files outside your project, running scripts or using the network.
  • Local only: no network port, one tool at a time, and Disconnect whenever you like.

The other AI tools

Brush Lab: describe a brush

Describe a brush (“dry cracked mud”, “overlapping dragon scales”) and AI builds it as a recipe with every value on a slider. Then refine it in plain words. Free through an open model on Pollinations.ai with no key, or with a local model. Brush Lab guide

Generate 3D from an image or text

Reconstruct a model you can sculpt from a sketch, concept art or a description, through Hunyuan3D, TRELLIS.2 and Stable Fast 3D on Hugging Face, your own ComfyUI, or fal.ai or Meshy. Generate 3D guide

Local models

Ollama or LM Studio for brush design: free, private and offline. Set one up in five minutes on Windows, macOS or Linux.

Your own ComfyUI

Run image or text to 3D workflows on your own GPU or a studio server, with ready-made Hunyuan3D 2.1 workflows included. ComfyUI guide

Agents and scripts

sculptforge-cli has a built-in MCP server, so Claude Code, Claude Desktop or any MCP client can sculpt, convert and export. Scripting guide

Studio controls

One policy file decides which AI tools and providers are allowed, an audit log records every AI step, and API keys stay in the system keychain. SculptForge for studios

Each model has its own licence. For example, Tencent's Hunyuan3D isn't licensed for use in the EU, UK or South Korea. AI services and privacy guide
